Quilt Market Opens!

 ---Was ready with my list of essential stops when Quilt Market finally opened.

#1 Must buy Kaffe Fassett's new line, Liberty Art, loaded with paisleys!  Bought it and got this cool pic of Kaffe in his booth Knitting!  I love it!

#2 Check out the Art of Possibility by Free Spirit, inspired by a blind painter!  Really interesting.  Bought it!  Here is the Art of Possibility booth highlighting the fabric:

#3 Check out the new Liquitex Surface Design Center!  Went to the booth, bought it!  Hard to resist anything arty!

#4 Check out what's new at the Quilting Arts booth!  Went - bought lots of cool new art quilting books.  Who could resist such cool art quilting books?????!!!!!

#5 Stop by the Quilter's Dream booth and order more Dream Orient batting, my fav at this moment!  Bought it in the 90" and 120" wide rolls!

#6 Stop by the EQ booth to see what is new and order more copies of EQ6!  Stopped by the booth forgot to buy EQ6, but saw some cool new quilting patterns there.  Need to call to re-order.

#7 Stopped by the Misty Fuse Booth.  Have you tried Misty Fuse yet?  Once you try it you will never want to use any other kind of fusible.  

#8 Quickly check out all the fabric booths before my first appointment at 11:30 - almost got to them all in time.  It's nice to know everything that's out there before placing any orders.  It does make a difference to know how heavy I can go with certain lines.

#9 Remember to go to all appointments - 11:30, 12:00, 2:00, and 3:00 - all on the first day!  Last appointment on day 2 at 8 AM.

Moda was first appointment and my Moda rep was kind enough to let me take her pic and give me my 'Play Book'.  Bought lots of new fabric here including ANOTHER new CHEZ MOI line!

Made it to my second appointment at the Robert Kaufman booth at 12:00.  Bought lots of fabric here.  Can't remember what it looked like.  Next time I'll have to take pictures while I'm ordering.  The mind just isn't as sharp as it used to be - can't remember back that far.

Made it to the Michael Miller booth at 2:00.  Bought lots of new fabric here.

 

AND...WON A PRIZE at their wheel, too!!!!!

Made it to the Timeless Treasures booth at 3:00.

Fell in LUV with the new cat fabric and bought it!  (bought the matching dog/woof fabric too)

Those are the highlights!  Did enough damage for one trip and had to come home!
